When Road and Track reviewed the C63 AMG Black Series, they said "Like all Black Series cars, the C63 Black is effectively a standard Mercedes—in this case a C63 Coupe —sent to hell and back."

They noted that with the special bodywork, the front track is 1.6 greater than on a standard C63, while the rear track is 3.1 inches wider and equipped with 19 inch wheels specific to the Black Series. The engine is a version of the M156 6.2L V8 that powers the legendary SLS AMG producing 510 HP and a 7200 RPM redline. 59 more ponies and 400 RPM more than the standard C63 AMG.

The Black Series is simply a more powerful and focused car than a standard C63 AMG, and with its immensely limited production numbers has become a highly sought after collector car!
